Data controller

Hjertell Fastigheter is the data controller for personal data submitted via the website boendeuthyres.se.

What data we process

When you send a corporate enquiry, we process the company name, company registration number, the contact person’s name, email address and telephone number, as well as the preferred location, period, number of people and anything you write in the free-text field.

Please do not include sensitive personal data in the free-text field.

Why we process the data

The data is used to respond to the enquiry and, where applicable, to enter into and administer a tenancy agreement with the company. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with contact persons at companies requesting accommodation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where an agreement is made, the performance of that agreement with the company.

How long the data is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. If a tenancy agreement is concluded, the data is kept for the duration of the agreement and thereafter for as long as required by law, for example the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (7 years).

Who receives the data

The data is not sold or shared with others for marketing. Our web host and email provider, Simply.com (within the EU), processes the data on our behalf as a data processor.

Cookies and technical information

The website does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not load third-party services. When the form is submitted, a strictly necessary session cookie is used to prevent repeated submissions. To protect against spam, an encrypted (hashed) form of the IP address is stored for no more than 24 hours. The web host also keeps server logs for security purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, to request restriction, to object to the processing and to receive your data (data portability). Contact us by replying to an email you have received from us, or via the form on the home page with a short description of your request.

If you believe we process your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se, or the supervisory authority in your country.

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always available on this page.
